· Providing analysis of Wellington regional data to support the Senior Leadership Team in consideration of overall economic performance of the Wellington region and identify potential trends.
· Managing the annual compliance reporting process for WellingtonNZ, stay informed in changes throughout the year to relevant legislation and support the organisation’s ongoing compliance.
About you
You’ll bring experience in research, data analysis, performance reporting or insights roles, ideally within a public sector, regional development or complex stakeholder environment. You’ll also have:
- Strong ability to gather, analyse and interpret data, and present insights clearly through dashboards, infographics and written reports.
- A good understanding of New Zealand government data sources and how they can be applied at a regional level.
- Experience evaluating programmes or projects and producing performance or outcomes focused reporting.
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools and databases, including strong Excel skills.
